Meet Our Team

Dr. Daryl Anderson is the President and Founder of For A Better Us Global, a nonprofit dedicated to expanding opportunities for children and families through exposure, education, and transformative experiences. With more than 28 years of experience in education, he has served in school systems across Maryland, including Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and Prince George’s County Public Schools.

Motivated by the barriers students face when access and opportunity are limited, Dr. Anderson founded For A Better Us Global to help young people, particularly those from underserved communities, broaden their perspectives and envision greater possibilities for their future. He holds a Doctorate in Education from Walden University, a master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.

A proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Dr. Anderson is a servant leader committed to integrity, service, and community uplift. A devoted husband and father of five, he remains passionate about travel, global exposure, and empowering the next generation one experience at a time.

Cynthia Dunyoh is a people centered leader with a deep commitment to community impact and organizational excellence. With a strong background in Human Resources, Cynthia serves as Director of People and Culture at the NAACP, where she advances inclusive workplace practices and supports mission driven teams nationwide.

As Vice President of For A Better Us Global, Cynthia brings a thoughtful and values driven approach to leadership focused on empowering people, strengthening families, and building sustainable communities. Her work centers on aligning people strategy with purpose, ensuring organizations are equipped to lead with integrity, equity, and care.

Keisha Maddox serves as Secretary of For A Better Us Global, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing services, resources, and meaningful experiences that support growth for individuals and families. With more than 25 years of experience in education, Keisha has worked extensively with children and families, beginning her career as a teen working with youth and continuing as an educator at both the elementary and high school levels.

Throughout her career, Keisha has supported students and educators through mentoring, career exploration, career training, and college research, as well as presenting to youth and adult audiences. Her experience includes leading and traveling with groups of students in and out of state to support educational enrichment and leadership development opportunities.

In addition to her work in education, Keisha has served as Acting Chairman of the Board for Maryland DECA, volunteered with DECA and Future Business Leaders of America for over 20 years, currently serves on the board for the UMES Baltimore Alumni Chapter, and has been nominated twice for Teacher of the Year.

Nikia K. Vaughan is a nonprofit executive, advocate, and wellness professional dedicated to advancing health equity and strengthening communities. She serves as Executive Director of the Maryland Sickle Cell Disease Association, where she leads statewide initiatives focused on education, access to care, advocacy, and holistic support for individuals and families impacted by sickle cell disease.

With a background in healthcare advocacy, communications, and community health, Nikia has worked closely with medical institutions, policymakers, and community partners to address disparities and improve quality of life. Her leadership is deeply informed by lived experience as a mother and caregiver, fueling a compassionate, people-centered approach to systems change and community empowerment.

Kenneth Collins is a seasoned behavioral health and human services leader with more than 25 years of experience supporting individuals, children, and families. A graduate of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and the University of Maryland at Baltimore, Kenneth has dedicated his career to expanding access to effective, compassionate services that strengthen communities and improve outcomes for those most in need.

Kenneth is the owner of Restoration Behavioral Health Systems and Essential Holdings of Maryland, where he provides strategic leadership focused on quality care, service innovation, and sustainable growth. Throughout his career, Kenneth has served children and families across Maryland, building trusted partnerships and developing programs that promote stability, resilience, and long-term well-being.

Keidra Rowe is an accomplished human services and aging services leader with a strong track record of building effective programs, strengthening teams, and improving outcomes for individuals in Baltimore City. Keidra oversees a portfolio of aging and community-based programs, manages multimillion-dollar budgets, and guides teams of program managers, case managers, and administrative staff.

With extensive behavioral health and workforce development experience, Keidra remains deeply committed to equitable access, program quality, and empowering both clients and staff to thrive.

Reginald C. Carter Sr.

Reginald C. Carter Sr. is an accomplished IT Specialist with more than 28 years of combined experience in technology and defense operations. After serving six years in the United States military, he transitioned to civil service, where he has dedicated over two decades to supporting the Department of Defense.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, which further strengthened his foundation in technology and leadership. His expertise includes network security, systems administration, and mission critical IT solutions.

Reginald is passionate about using technology as a tool for empowerment. He is committed to helping bridge the digital divide by increasing access to tools, knowledge, and resources for individuals and communities, regardless of background or circumstance.

Ayzha Corbett is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Maryland and Florida and a dedicated mental health professional committed to culturally responsive, holistic care. She is the co-owner of New Journey New Hope, a community-based outpatient clinic providing therapy, medication management, and psychiatric rehabilitation, and The Healing Centered Collective, a private practice focused on therapy, counseling, training, consultation, and clinical supervision.

Ayzha’s work centers on strength-based, solution-focused, and cognitive behavioral approaches, with a special focus on supporting Black and Brown girls and women in rediscovering their power, resilience, and joy.
